GT Handyman is helping those in need solve and repair home maintenance problems. If you know someone who is a Veteran, spouse of an active military member, elderly or handicapped who desperately needs minor home repairs, and who can’t afford such services, please tell us about them . We will also provide a deep discount to those needing more preplanned services .
We unfortunately cannot help every one so we must have some basic guidelines . Please only nominate those who are truly in need and those that live in the Traverse City and immediate surrounding area. In the event we receive more nominations than we can handle we will draw names to determine who will receive our services . Once your nominee is chosen they can expect us to arrive and provide one hour of home repair . We will also pay up to $25 for parts needed. If parts needed are expected to be more than $25 we ask that you provide the additional cost of material (not the nominee) Absolutely no attempts of additional sales on our part will be made to the nominee as it would defeat the purpose of charity. Please use our nominee form to tell us a little bit about your nominee and how we may help them. We will respond with you if we have further questions and or to notify you that we have chosen your nominee. Please keep in mind your involvement is encouraged and sometimes needed depending on nominees ability to communicate.
