Changing Lives. Changing Perceptions. Changing Communities.
Disability Network works with families and individuals with any type of disability, including those with hidden disabilities, such as learning disabilities. We help children, veterans, aging parents, and those who recently acquired a disability due to an accident. We believe that disability is a natural part of life and can occur at any age and at any moment. Many of the difficulties faced by people with disabilities are a result of attitudes and environments, not the disability.
We’re here to support the community, as well as the individual, and think that everyone should have the opportunity to participate, contribute, and belong to our community. We believe that disabilities positively affect and enhance the diversity of our community.
We serve a seventeen county region: Grand Traverse, Leelanau, Benzie, Manistee, Wexford, Missaukee, Kalkaska, Crawford, Antrim, Otsego, Emmet, Charlevoix, Cheboygan, Presque Isle, Montmorency, Alpena and Oscoda.
